$10,000+ and Counting

January 24, 2025

This week, Friends of Ohana had the honor of presenting at the 100+ Women Who Care - Scottsdale Chapter. This remarkable group of women gathers quarterly to support local nonprofits, and we’re deeply grateful to have been selected.

We had the opportunity to share our mission to provide aging-out foster youth with the resources, mentorship, and opportunities they need to thrive.

With 14,000 youth in Arizona’s foster care system and over 1,000 aging out every year, we’re working tirelessly to break the cycle of hardship these young adults often face. From homelessness and unemployment to involvement with the justice system, we aim to rewrite these statistics and create brighter futures.

Thanks to the incredible generosity behind this donation, we can continue making a lasting impact on the lives of those we serve.
Stay tuned for the final total— hint: it’s over $10,000!

To the incredible women of 100+ Women Who Care, thank you for standing with us and believing in the power of change.
