This past Saturday, Friends of Ohana had the honor of sharing our mission at Jennifer Schumacher's Vision Board Event, where we connected with an incredible group of women, including real estate agents, judges, business owners, and more. Together, we raised over $12,000 to support our programs for young adults who have aged out of the foster care system.

One of the highlights of the evening was hearing from Jason, our Ohana Ambassador, who courageously shared his story of resilience and hope. His journey is a powerful reminder of what can be achieved when support, community, and opportunity come together.

Kendall, our Community Engagement Specialist, also spoke to the group about the vulnerable age group we serve and how our programs, ranging from life skills classes to housing and workforce support, are making a tangible difference in the lives of young adults like Jason as they transition to independence.

We’re incredibly grateful for the support of everyone who attended the event and for the generous contributions that will directly impact the lives of those in our program. The evening was a true testament to the power of community and the difference we can make when we come together to support those in need.
