At Friends of Ohana, we believe in the power of community and the importance of supporting our young adults as they embark on new and exciting chapters in their lives. Recently, we had the pleasure of sponsoring one of our bright young adults as she prepares to start her college journey at Grand Canyon University this fall.

Setting up a dorm room is a significant step in making the transition to college life, and we were thrilled to help her create a space that feels like home. Our sponsorship included shopping for essential items such as cozy bedding and stylish decor, allowing her to personalize her new environment. These touches of comfort are more than just material items— they are the foundation for a supportive, nurturing space where she can thrive academically and personally.
