We are thrilled to share some exciting news with our community! Hanai Peoria City Hall, our latest venture, has been featured in both KTAR News and the Phoenix New Times. This recognition is a testament to our mission and the incredible support we receive from our friends and partners.
Hanai Peoria City Hall is more than just a coffee shop; it’s a beacon of hope for former foster youth. Owned by Friends of Ohana, our non-profit shop dedicates 100% of its proceeds to breaking historical cycles for foster youth through hope, healing, and community.
What truly sets Hanai Peoria City Hall apart is our commitment to empowering our baristas. Many of them are former foster youth undergoing training as Hanai Peoria’s newest baristas. Through their work at Hanai, they not only serve delicious coffee but also gain invaluable life skills such as responsibility, financial literacy, and time management—skills that may have been missed during their upbringing.
At Hanai Peoria City Hall, it’s more than just a cup of coffee. It’s a sip of empowerment and a taste of positive change. Every visit and every purchase contributes directly to creating a brighter future for foster youth.
We invite you to visit us inside Peoria City Hall and experience firsthand the impact your support makes. Thank you for being a part of our journey and helping us create a brighter future for foster youth.
Stay tuned for more updates and stories about the incredible impact we are making together.
