Last week, we witnessed an inspiring display of generosity and compassion. Hope Church, alongside Elevate Coffee Co., partnered with Friends of Ohana to pack over 40 gift bags for teens transitioning out of foster care and into independent living.

Each gift bag was carefully filled with essential items like shampoo, conditioner, deodorant, and grooming products. But what made these bags truly special were the handwritten notes included in each one— personal messages reminding these young adults that they are loved, valued, and supported as they navigate this significant life transition.

This heartwarming effort was made possible thanks to the amazing support of Hope Church, Elevate Coffee Co. for hosting the event, and the volunteers who took time out of their day to assemble these bags. Your generosity and care will leave a lasting impact, helping these teens feel seen and supported as they step into this next chapter.
